Here are my favorite Christmas songs. You can download them by following their title link.
Everyone loves a Christmas song and our favorite artists all aim for this lucrative market. Some, like Mariah Carey make most of their income from this seasonal genre. I thought....
'if it's good enough for all my favorite artists to have a Xmas song then why not give it a bash. Enjoy!
This is a cover of the classic Christmas song Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire made famous by the legendary Nat King Cole way before most of us were born. It is a testament then to the songwriter Mel Torme that it has stood the test of time.
More recently Sam Smith has done a great version too but the smooth tones of the late great Nat King Cole is unbeatable. I hope my jazzy (if short) guitar and Fender Rhodes instrumental does it justice but I will settle for a warm, fuzzy feeling at this festive time. Merry Christmas!
Here's another of my original tracks. I'm hoping this one will get you in the festive mood?
I must admit that it didn't start out as a Christmas song, it evolved into one by accident. I'm a great believer in accepting what the song gives you so I ran with it!
Is River by Joni Mitchell the best Christmas song ever?
It was off the 1973 'Blue' Album and amazingly was never released as a single. Nor was it intended as a Christmas song, it was a sad love song about her breakup with Graham Nash. It just got so much airplay it grew into a classic that gets played very holiday season.
