1968:
David Gilmour Joins - David Gilmour joined the band, initially as a second guitarist, to cover for Barrett’s erratic behavior caused by mental health issues.
Syd Barrett left the band due to his declining mental health.
1973:
Released "The Dark Side of the Moon” which became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
1975:
Released the album "Wish You Were Here” which paid tribute to Syd Barrett.
1979:
Released the rock opera "The Wall” which included the iconic track "Another Brick in the Wall."
1985:
Roger Waters left the band, leading to legal disputes over the use of the Pink Floyd name.
1987:
Released "A Momentary Lapse of Reason” the first album without Roger Waters.
