Rock Guitarist Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page
Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page is the British guitarist consistently rated for one of the top 10 ever solos - on "Stairway to Heaven”. It's ironic his best solo was on the track that he was sued over for plagiarism (which he won). Doubly ironic is that it's also the one song you CANNOT PLAY in a music store. I don't know why, it's some unwritten law that will get you ejected!

The Legend

Yes, Jimmy Page is the legendary guitarist, producer, and founder of the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin. With his virtuosic playing, innovative guitar techniques, and visionary approach to songwriting, Page helped shape the landscape of rock music in the 1960s and 1970s.

Hits

Hits like "Stairway to Heaven," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Kashmir" showcase his mastery of the instrument and his ability to create timeless, genre-defining music. Page's influence on rock guitarists is immeasurable, with his pioneering use of blues and folk elements paving the way for generations of musicians to come.

Also in the Top 10 riffs ever is “Whole Lotta Love”. A best solo, a best riff, the guys a GOAT.

He had a trademark double neck guitar which he would often theatrically play with a violin bow.
