Destiny's Child is an American three-piece girl group whose final and most famous lineup comprised Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. They are one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.
1990 Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland meet and form a girl group with LaTavia Roberson in Houston, Texas, initially called "Girl's Tyme."
1997 The group is signed by Columbia Records and renamed Destiny's Child.
