Blink-182 is an American rock band formed in Poway, California, in 1992. Known for their catchy melodies, irreverent humor, and energetic performances, Blink-182 is considered a key band in the pop-punk genre.
1992: Blink-182 is formed by Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Scott Raynor.
1995: Release their debut album "Cheshire Cat” which gains them a following in the punk rock scene.
1997: Release "Dude Ranch” featuring the hit single "Dammit."
1998: Scott Raynor leaves the band and is replaced by Travis Barker.
1999: Achieve mainstream success with "Enema of the State” which includes hits like "All the Small Things” "What's My Age Again?" and "Adam's Song."
2001: Release "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” which debuts at number one on the Billboard 200.
2003: Release their self-titled album "Blink-182” showing a more mature and experimental sound.
2005: The band announces an indefinite hiatus.
2009: Blink-182 reunites and begins work on new material.
2011: Release "Neighborhoods” their first album since reuniting.
2015: Tom DeLonge leaves the band and is replaced by Matt Skiba.
2016: Release "California” which debuts at number one on the Billboard 200.
2020: Continue to tour and release music, maintaining a loyal fan base.
