Blink-182 is an American rock band formed in Poway, California, in 1992. Known for their catchy melodies, irreverent humor, and energetic performances, Blink-182 is considered a key band in the pop-punk genre.
1992 Blink-182 is formed by Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Scott Raynor.
1995 Release their debut album "Cheshire Cat” which gains them a following in the punk rock scene.
1997 Release "Dude Ranch” featuring the hit single "Dammit."
1998 Scott Raynor leaves the band and is replaced by Travis Barker.
1999 Achieve mainstream success with "Enema of the State” which includes hits like "All the Small Things” "What's My Age Again?" and "Adam's Song."
2001 Release "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” which debuts at number one on the Billboard 200.
2003 Release their self-titled album "Blink-182” showing a more mature and experimental sound.
2005 The band announces an indefinite hiatus.
2009 Blink-182 reunites and begins work on new material.
2011 Release "Neighborhoods” their first album since reuniting.
2015 Tom DeLonge leaves the band and is replaced by Matt Skiba.
2016 Release "California” which debuts at number one on the Billboard 200.
2020 Continue to tour and release music, maintaining a loyal fan base.
